Analysis of L-1Ra and IL-4 Gene VNTRs Polymorphisms among Dental Laboratory Technicians: A Genotype–Phenotype Study

For people working in dental prosthesis laboratories (DPL), metal alloys and methylmethacrylate-based monomers polymers used the laboratory can pose occupational risks. These risks cause health problems toxic effects on human health. This study purposes of researching exposure because manufacturing operations variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) polymorphisms IL-1Ra IL-4 genes. 29 DPL workers, experimental group, were given a questionnaire, including symptoms that might arise due to exposure, their responses compared with 30 participants as control group.
